Personal Current Account


A personal current account is an account that lets you manage your day-to-day expenses and earnings in a secure and reliable manner.

Required documents to open a personal current account:

  • 1. Two passport-sized photos with a white background.
  • 2. Copy of signatory identity (e.g. passport, national ID, driver's license, etc.).
  • 3. Proof of residence (e.g. utility bills, rent, receipt, work permit, etc.).
  • 4. Risk rating.
  • 5. Foreign Currency Account - Personal: A foreign currency account is an account opened by an individual for financial transactions, deposits, and withdrawals in foreign currencies like the US Dollar, Pound, and Euro.


We have found that we hold 60% to 70% of Nassit Pension accounts at SLCB. However, most customers tend to collect their pension without saving it. To encourage them to save, we want to tailor a product to meet their specific needs and retain them as customers. Any customer over 60 years old who saves money with us will be entitled to special facilities. This will also attract new customers to bank with us.

The Mi-Yon Seniors Account will offer cheque book facilities for current and savings accounts, a 50% reduction in COT for current accounts, a high-interest rate of 5% per month for savings accounts, and a dedicated teller. These features will make it easy for retired customers to decide to join our bank.
